Helpful as always thanks. Didn't know about metronome beats or the online virtual piano. We go to Spain a lot and while I have an acoustic there funnily enough I don't drag my piano etc all the way. For what it's worth I quite like the Apple Journal / or Voice Memo's just for recording quick ideas. Tho my phone / iPad / MacBook aren't modern enough for it to sync across all devices. Still not that much of an issue.
Thanks for reading, Mark! Yeah, the standard voice memo apps can be totally fine for most uses. There's a great iPhone app called TapeIt (https://tape.it) which looks fantastic, I have an Android phone and it's iPhone only but might be worth checking out!
