Yeah, it's such a useful piece of software. I mostly use it for vocals, but it's been a handy tool to call on for solving various other instrument issues too (it's fantastic for bass guitar). I'll do an article / tutorial vid about non-vocal uses of Melodyne sometime!
Good trick to have up your sleeve. One of those other tools I mentioned might be a cheaper solution if you don't already have Melodyne and don't deal with vocals often!

I rarely deal with vocals, but I remember this trouble with sibilants.
